Highlight of the week; L. Tom Perry

Hola!

Well one thing that you asked for is my daily schedule! My normal Daily schedule consists of waking up at 6:15 and breakfast at 7! Class at 8 and throughout the day spending about 8-10 hours in the class room! Im so grateful for P-days though because I dont know what I would do without them! It seriously does seem like it was just yesterday that I was sending the last email! This week has gone by so fast! My spanish is getting better and better every day! Elder Price is still really stugglin but me and him are getting better and better at working together!! Oh and I did get all that ketchup out of my shirt! I seem to just have the worst luck though because I dropped my pen on my shirt a couple times this week and of course just got this huge pen mark down my chest! You wouldnt believe how hard it is to keep white shirts and black suits clean here! No Bueno!
Anyways! If I have learned on thing this week it is that the Book of Mormon is soooo important! That is the whole reason and purpose that I am here!
In fact "GET THIS" yesterday, at the tuesday night devotional, Elder L. Tom Perry came and spoke to us last night! I got pulled out of the crowd of people that were there in line waiting to get into the devotional to be an usher! haha While I was ushering people in at the end I was called over to one of the doors and was told to shut it at a certain time and then just stand there till the devotional started! Guess who was the one who had the door opened behind him only to see L. Tom Perry himself! 5 Minutes till the door opened behind me and this short old little man came out and I wish now more then ever I would have expected that because I didnt at all and there he was! They never do tell the missionaires who is going to speak at the devotionals so it was a complete suprise to begin with! But anyways thats the highlight of my week this week! To sum it up because now half of my time is gone now... he spoke on the importance of the Book of Mormon and what we as missionaries need to do to inhance our teaching. The whole purpose of the Book of Mormon is to testify of Christ and what is my purpose.... to invite people to come to Him! It hit me pretty hard that If there is one thing I need to focus on is strengthening my testimony of the Book of Mormon! Im working on that so please you should too!
Its Elder Belnap and Elder Carter that are in the room with us! They are both awesome! We are still trying really hard to depart from Babylon and leave the outside world behind us and sometimes I feel like I'm the only one telling them to stop talking about random stuff that has nothing to do with missionary work! But whatever... its fun! Spanish is getting harder and harder but its so much fun to me! It never was before but it is now! I see more and more every day the kids that I went to high school with.. its awesome!
I've ran into now 3 other Elder Gardner's... its crazy! I also ran into a Brother Gardner and I asked him who his family goes through because he is from Canada or something and he said that he comes though Walter Elias! Its so crazy how small of a world it is here in the MTC! I love it!

I love you all!  Until next time....
Love Elder Gardner
Your servant of the Lord!!!
